Susan Oehl, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Baylor University in 2003. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2006.

While in law school, Susan clerked for an insurance defense firm in downtown Houston. She successfully completed training as a mediator through the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution. Shortly after passing the bar, Susan began practicing in the area of family law, and quickly gained experience in the courtroom and in mediations. Susan joined Jenkins & Kamin in September 2008.

Susan is a member of the Family Law and Collaborative Law sections of the Houston Bar Association, the Family Law section of the State Bar of Texas. She is also a member of Houston Young Lawyers Association, Texas Family Law Foundation, the American Bar Association, and Burta Rhoads Raborn American Inns of Court.
